1. Monday, 2 November is the great feast of All Souls. On this day we pray for all the faithful departed, remembering that we still hold them in our love, and we trust that in God’s presence those who have chosen to serve Our Lord will will grow in his love, until they see him as he is. There will be a mass at 10 am that day. Our prayers support the faithful departed in their journey towards the fullness of God’s glory. At the Commendation (Absolution), the names of the faithful departed are represented on the catafalque. Note that all who died in the last twelve months should already be on the list – check before adding them again. The usual monthly requiem for all whose anniversaries fall in November will be on Friday 6 November. On 13 November we will have a special requiem for all those who have died unquiet deaths – this includes anyone you feel died in difficult circumstances. The lists for names are at the back of the church.
  2. Education Association Committee and Coulthard Fund Committee meet after the 10 am mass on Sunday 8 November.
  3. Our next meeting of the Cell of Our Lady of Walsingham is this Saturday 7 November at 9 am.
  4. We are collecting money for a gift for Deacon Ben Falcon for his ordination next month. Please see Fr Scott if you wish to donate.
  5. Notice is given of a vestry meeting to approve the budget and the AGMs of the Education Association and Coulthard Fund on Sunday 6 December.
