This Sunday, 12 December we celebrate the third Sunday of Advent, tour time to watch and wait for the Lord. Owing to covid restritions masks need to be worn inside the church building and all singing must be done wearing a mask. There are two masses on Sunday: the 8 am mass which is just a simple said mass taking around 40 minutes, and the 10 am mass, which is a sung mass with hymns and incense, taking just over an hour. There are masses every day except Monday, Fr Scott’s day off.
A small group meets on Tuesdays for mass at 10 am, then a coffee up the street and an hour of gardening for fellowship.
Our next meeting will be on Saturday, 12 February 2022 at Deacon Joan Teresa Hart’s house, starting with the mass at 11 am.
Our next Sunday study will be on the last Sunday of February next year, the 27, at 11.15 am.
Every month, usually on the first Friday, we remember at a special requiem all those whose year’s mind falls in that month, the recently departed, and any others for whom prayers are requested. The next monthly requiem will be on Friday 7 January, at 8 am.
