St George’s has a food basket where parishioners can place items that are needed for the needy. This is gathered and sent to the Magdalene Centre every week. Old clothes are also collected. At the moment giving to this centre is suspended and food will be sent to the Hutt Street Centre.

Magdalene Centre Christmas Hampers: thanks for the parish support in helping to supply the annual hampers for those in need.

The Magdalene Centre in summer is always looking for donations of sunscreen and deodorant. They also need new men’s underwear. There is a continuing demand for full cream long life milk. If you are able to assist, your donation(s) may be left in the basket by the pulpit.
