1. Our new archbishop, the Rt Rev’d Brad Billings, was enthroned yesterday in the Cathedral, the 11th bishop and 6th archbishop of Adelaide.
  2. Our Lent studies are on Wednesdays at 5.30, starting in the church at 5.30 for compline, then meeting in the garden.
  3. Our Lenten Appeal once again supports the Diocese of Aipo Rongo in PNG. Sets of envelopes available at the back of the church. You’re welcome to make your Lenten giving for the church in Melanesia online – payment can be made to the St Georges Association for Education BSB 105-033 Acc No 151 259 040.
  4. The annual Vestry will be on Sunday 29 March. Nomination forms are available at the back of the church
  5. Stations of the Cross each Friday at 8 am.
  6. Fr Scott will be away for a week so there will be communion services rather than mass at the advertised times. Next Sunday the priest will be Fr Michael Whiting.
  7. Our brass cleaning day will be Friday 27 March, starting at 10 am. All hands welcome.
  8. Palm Crosses.  Please let either Fr Scott or Tim Hender know if you can help ABM make our palm crosses for this Easter.  We’ll then let you know locations and times for their working bees.

  10. Today is Refreshment or Mothering Sunday, a break in our Lenten round. We celebrate with Simnel Cake in memory of our Mother Church and our earthly mother, pink vestments instead of purple. Thank you to those who provided the cake.
