1. The 10 am mass today and for the Sundays of Advent follows a slightly different order. The most notable difference for the congregation is that the Lord’s Prayer is not said aloud, but instead whispered, to reflect on the death of Our Lord on the Cross, and his descent into hell. The peace then follows immediately, and the congregation then stands.
  2. The Holy Family continues its journey around the church for Christmas.
  3. St Paul’s Op-Shop has closed on 19 December for their seasonal break. It will re-open on 13 January. If you have donations, please keep them at home until the second week of January.
  4. In lieu of a Christmas parish lunch we will have an Epiphany Lunch on Tuesday 6 January at 12.30 at the Goodwood Park Hotel. A list is at the back of the church if you are interested in coming.
  5. Services for Christmas Eve are 6 pm children’s service, 11 pm for the start of the Midnight Mass and one service on Christmas Day at 9 am. Please help promote the children’s service at 6 pm on Christmas Eve.
  6. We need help for the roster for Christmas – I’ve made a draft, but I still need names.
  7. We need help setting up the Christmas Crib after the 10 am mass.
